Michelle Ryan

Michelle Ryan is our only deaf under-draguate™. She has had a cochlear implant (which is nothing to do with Chaz Bono). That means she has some hearing but not enough to distinguish lyrics in a song. That explains why Britney Spears was the first CD she ever bought. Michelle uses sign language and she lipreads well. She is also training as a hairdresser so expect to see some creative hairdos over the course.

Michelle has a crush on Wentworth Miller, the actor from Prison Break, which is odd because she also tells me that she doesn’t like perverts. So if YOU are a pervert, please don’t ask her out for her favourite Chinese food. She’ll probably say “No!”. If she says “Yes”, get her some coke. She loves that stuff.
