The lovely Roisín Ingle took a break from talking about herself in her fabulous Irish Times Magazine column to give my 15th anniversary bash a plug. This is a big thrill because if Roisín likes me then my snobby neighbours have to come around to the idea that I can live on their street!

I love this screen test of the legendary Romy Schneider doing all manner of fabulous arty things (like licking water and blowing smoke through her nose) for a screentest for the film L’Enfer. It’s almost exactly how I prepare for my scenes.
At this week’s show, I have a Snowball that’s worth €1,200 – that’s a Spanish Bailout for one – plus a pile of other pointless giveaways. Of course, there’s more than just bingo… We have Dancing Bears and Cock-Fights and our annual Throw The Onion competition. Come along from 9pm and try your luck.
