Ignite

I was asked to give a talk at the Ignite event at Dublin’s Science Gallery in December. It’s a geektastic event where a bunch of people get up and give a short talk on a subject they know something about. Or at least they pretend to know something about it. The audience don’t get to ask questions so, if you have the taxi waiting outside, you can pretty much say anything you like. Of course, they video the talk so …

XTINA RUNS

Christina Aguilera sang at Etta James’ funeral. It was televised. The performance isn’t especially notable – except for the runs. I am not really a fan of pointless vocal “runs” but that’s not the runs I am talking about… What is that dribbling down her leg? SPEECHLESS.

Kylie will be releasing brand new acoustic videos throughout the year in the same format to mark her jubilee. You can see the original of Finer Feelings here. Kylie also announced to her Australian fans (who are mostly The Gays™) that she would be appearing at this year’s Sydney Mardi Gras (which …

Gripping Dolly

As I mentioned, I’m having technical problems with my computer. In trying to reboot my system, I’ve discovered some old pictures. I’ve also lost loads of old photos so my memoirs are going to be very “word-heavy”. Here’s one of the old pics I unearthed. It’s me hanging with my homegirl Dolly Grip. We look sober, eh?
