The commentary here might as well have been written and recorded by the people who make Tallafornia. After all they are both presenting the same story: Aren’t those common and silly people from Tallaght only hilarious to us, their social betters? Yeah, thought so. Mark my words. Those “Tallafornians” are gonna have the last laugh. They’ll never have to pay into that nightclub in Tallaght ever again. They’ll be legends. Or something.

Sloths are creepy-looking creatures – even the cuter baby ones. Actually, one of those sloths look like me crawling home from the clubs on a Saturday night. Long fingernails make it harder to crawl.

Dubai is full of shit

They say it’s a shoppers paradise but there’s something very fake about Dubai, isn’t there? It’s like the mirage of a massive shopping centre built in the middle of the Arabian desert. And there’s something very unsettling about building hundred-storey hotels on sand foundations. Even if they do then invite the likes of Katie Price to come stay in them. Guinness is Gay for you!

In 1995, Guinness ad agency Ogilvy & Mather produced this commercial with a very gay theme. Negative reactions from test audiences meant it was actually never shown on TV  – except on those smug programmes with Chris Tarrant and a half drunk (and fully bored) studio audience. I’m guessing the negative reaction was to the nasty Nineties centre-parted & frosted hairdo.  Yikes!
